Before I explain, please let me quickly tell you where I’m coming from...

I first cut my teeth in the Square Mile in the winter of 1978. I was young, fresh-faced and straight out of university; keen but maybe a little naïve about the way the investment world really worked...

What I experienced over the next 30 years opened my eyes to a whole new world of opportunity. A world of connections... of knowledge... of information...

And you know what? I became pretty good at hunting out big, exciting profit opportunities.

In fact so good that I created and managed a European equity fund for the Argentinean market that became the largest mutual fund of its type in the country.

That was just one of many client portfolios that I managed when working in Hong Kong. I spent the best part of a decade there and became a director for Schroder Investment Management International, responsible for investing over £2bn of clients' money.

These days my time is my own. And I spend it on my one true passion – hunting down and anticipating little-known stock stories about small, speculative companies…

“Penny share” companies in the early stages of life…

Stocks that are COMPLETELY under-the-radar of the investment mainstream. Perhaps because they haven’t yet had a big breakthrough or aren’t understood by mainstream investors…

Companies listed on AIM, that have the potential to offer great returns if they make it BIG...

And I absolutely LOVE it!

Simon Blake from Oxford says... “Tom’s understanding in research on these small cap companies is fantastic and second to none from what I have seen. His choices of stocks give me direction and reassurance when investing.”
